The domestic activated carbon filter set suitable for the SWEGON CASA W3/W4 ventilation unit includes:

• 1 pc ACTIVATED CARBON fine filter cartridge ePM2.5 55% (= M6), (inlet air)
• 1 pc white coarse filter cloth ISO coarse (G3), (exhaust air)

The activated carbon filter set is suitable for all Swegon Casa W3 ventilation units, such as W3, W3 Smart and W3 Smart Econo.

ACTIVATED CARBON FINE FILTER CARTRIDGE

The filter cartridge has laminated activated carbon granules that bind to itself not only particles but also gas compounds such as smoke odor. Odor filtration depends on many things, such as the air volume of the air conditioner and the strength of the odor. When the filter is no longer able to bind to odors, it still functions as a particle filter in the normal way.

Extra coarse filter

The G3 coarse filter fabric in the exhaust air often gets dirty earlier than the fine filter cartridge in the supply air. By ordering additional coarse filters, you can replace only the coarse filter fabric in the exhaust air without replacing the fine filter cartridge itself.

Flame retardant black coarse filter

If you have a Swegon Casa W3/W4 model that is also equipped with a front heater, it is essential to use a flame retardant treated coarse filter to prevent a fire hazard caused by the possible heat of the front heater. The black flame retardant treated coarse filter, i.e. Bulpren Firend, is an impregnated, open-cell (20 PPI) polyester foam that passes demanding fire protection tests. The filter is a washable material with G1 filtration class.

Cell detergent

The operation of a heat recovery cell is significantly affected by its cleanliness. Likavex cleaning agent is a dilutable detergent suitable for washing the cell and many other cleaning purposes.

INSTALLATION OF FILTERS AND AIRFLOW DIRECTION

• The activated carbon fine filter cartridge has an arrow marking the airflow direction, making it easy to install in the correct direction.
• Due to the flat, identical structure of the coarse filters on both sides, the direction of the airflow has no bearing on the installation direction.
