DOMESTICITY
We have chosen a Finnish manufacturer for our Swegon Casa/ILTO W80/W100 accessory filters, whose high-quality domestic materials, structure and properties match those used in the factory's original filters as closely as possible. With this, we aim to offer our customers solutions for good indoor air quality, low pressure drop, long service life and low energy consumption of the filters.
ACTIVATED CARBON FINE FILTER CARTRIDGE
The filter cartridge has laminated activated carbon granules that bind to itself not only particles but also gas compounds such as smoke odor. Odor filtration depends on many things, such as the air volume of the air conditioner and the strength of the odor. When the filter is no longer able to bind to odors, it still functions as a particle filter in the normal way.
ACCESSORIES
Conveniently add the accessories you need to your order by selecting them and indicating the quantity:
Additional coarse filters
The coarse filter fabrics for the supply and extract air often get dirty faster than the fine filter cartridge for the supply air itself. By ordering additional coarse filters, you can replace just the coarse filter fabrics without replacing the fine filter cartridge if necessary.
Cell detergent
The operation of a heat recovery cell is significantly affected by its cleanliness. Likavex cleaning agent is a dilutable detergent suitable for washing the cell and many other cleaning purposes.
PRF- Cleaning foam
Suitable for cleaning, among other things, the heat recovery cell of an air conditioning unit. Sofas, office chairs, fireplace doors, mirrors, windows, tiles, sinks, condensers, etc.
REPLACING FILTERS
Remember to change the filters frequently. Clogged filters will not work as intended.
- The recommended filter replacement interval is 4 times a year.
- Also clean any loose dirt from the ventilation unit, e.g. by vacuuming.
- Also check the cleanliness of the heat recovery cell and, if necessary, wash it with a suitable cell cleaning agent.
INSTALLATION OF FILTERS AND AIRFLOW DIRECTION
- The activated carbon fine filter cartridge has an arrow marking the airflow direction, making it easy to install in the correct direction.
- Due to the flat, identical structure of the coarse filters on both sides, the direction of the airflow has no bearing on the installation direction.
MORE DETAILS OF FILTERS
Activated carbon cartridge:
- Classification according to the new ISO 16890 standard ePM2.5 55% (= M6)
- Activated carbon content approximately 150 g/m²
- Made of moisture-resistant polyester
- The cassette has a sturdy edge band that does not reduce the filtration area
GOOD INDOOR AIR
When indoor air is of high quality, it is dust-free, odor-free, draft-free and tasteless! It is somehow “nonexistent”. But everyone feels its positive effects on themselves, either consciously or unconsciously.
Unlike good indoor air, poor indoor air is recognized very quickly with its problems.
Filters are the most important parts of ventilation systems and have a significant impact on indoor air quality. For this reason, it is worth investing in replacing and improving the quality of filters to minimize harmful air pollutants and particles from outdoor air and thus improve the health impact of indoor air.
