MAINTENANCE:
A cooker hood filter can be either replaceable or washable. Most commonly, the metallic grease filter in a cooker hood is washable, but even washable grease filters should be replaced from time to time if necessary. Please note that an unclean cooker hood and its filter can pose a hygiene and fire safety risk.

A washable grease filter should be soaked for 15–20 minutes, for example, in a sink filled with hot water and dishwashing detergent. After soaking, rinse the filter thoroughly and let it dry. Some filter models can also be washed in a dishwasher. Please note that dishwasher cleaning may cause discoloration of the filter surface. You can also use a dedicated degreasing agent for cleaning the filter.
