Lake Water Filter WatMan 20” – 50 Micron

The WatMan 20” lake water filter is designed for pre-filtration of natural water sources such as lake water. Natural water often contains suspended solids like sand, algae, pollen, leaves, and needles. This filter prevents such impurities from entering pumps, faucets, and mixers, protecting them from wear and clogging.

The filter is installed on the suction side of the pump using a 1” male thread connection. Before installation, the cartridge should be wetted or submerged to prevent it from floating. The surface can be cleaned mechanically, and permeability should be checked periodically (typically once a month).
