Activated Carbon filter cassette consists of tiny absorbent pores, which absorb pollutants from the air. In order to remove smells and gaseous substances the air flow needs to be sufficient. The effectivity of the carbon filter cassette also depends on the amount of pollutants it is exposed to. As the carbon filter becomes saturated, it still functions as a particulate filter.

Recommended replacement interval 4 - 6 months.
